This silent, color film shows the visit of Mother Marie Antoinette Blanchot, as the Superior General of the Daughters of Charity, to St. Vincent’s School in 1950 to inspect the school’s operations and become better acquainted with the order’s international missions. The film begins with views of several woman preparing baked goods for sale. Other goods are also being sold, likely for the benefit of St. Vincent’s. According to signage in the film, it was Open House Day at St. Vincent’s.
