Rosa M. Paredes, CPA, NPCC, CPO, SHCM
Rosa became St. Vincent’s first lay President and Chief Executive Officer in August 2017. She joined as Chief Financial Officer in 2011, and while learning the organization’s finances, she discovered the profound history of the Daughters of Charity—women who arrived in Santa Barbara in 1858 with an unshakeable mission to serve those most in need. That discovery transformed her work from perfecting numbers to stewarding a sacred legacy.
Today, Rosa advocates for the 600+ residents on campus and the 60 team members who serve them, bringing extensive experience in public accounting, commercial banking, and nonprofit finance. A Certified Public Accountant, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara. When not championing for residents, you’ll find her cheering at her children’s sports events or walking her dog Oso.
