Our Fall 2026 newsletter is here. President & CEO Rosa Paredes opens the issue by reflecting on the feast days of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Francis of Assisi, and on the long friendship between the Franciscans and the Daughters of Charity in Santa Barbara.

Inside, you’ll meet Alicia, who arrived at St. Vincent’s homeless and pregnant and now works here as a Peer Support Specialist in our Family Strengthening Program. You’ll also read the story of Bill Cordero, whose mother was raised here by the Daughters around 1930 and who has chaired our Charity Golf Classic for 25 years. The issue also covers community news, including a nutrition class at Villa Caridad and our weekly Intergenerational Program, along with upcoming events.
