This silent color film provides a captivating visual record of St. Vincent’s campus natural beauty, showcasing its distinctive landscapes and environments. Beyond its scenic value, the film offers a unique glimpse into the daily life of students and staff at St. Vincent’s School; it offers valuable insights into the educational and caregiving practices of the era. The film begins with views of the Santa Ynez Mountains with snow on them, and views of the St. Vincent’s school with snow on the rooftops and ground. Afterwards, the film shows the school children walking and gathering for school. Activities involving the kids are also shown, such as sewing and knitting groups. Later in the film the children can be seen participating in a religious procession.
