Christmas celebration at Point Mugu – 1953
This silent, black and white film shows the Daughters of Charity celebrating Christmas with students from St. Vincent’s School and U.S. Navy servicemen at Point Mugu. The film was taken on December 25, 1953. This film begins with views of the children being shown around the base by service members. The film then shows the nuns from St. Vincents, and the children receiving lunch and eating with service members. Afterwards the children and staff are taken off of a bus to receive presents from Santa Claus.
