Regina Ruiz joined St. Vincent’s in 2019, as the Vice President of Development and Marketing. Regina’s unique background brings a broad set of talents to St. Vincent’s.  In her role, Regina will use her extensive leadership experience from both the private and non-profit sector to craft a targeted development, marketing, and communication strategy for all St. Vincent’s programs.  As an accomplished broadcast journalist, Regina has anchored and reported at top-market television stations across the country for more than a decade including: New York, New Mexico, Las Vegas, Santa Barbara and most recently for NBC in San Diego.

In addition, she earned her Master of Science in Broadcast Journalism from the top communications’ college in the country, the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. As a skilled communicator, Regina has further shared her enthusiasm for journalism as an Instructor at Santa Barbara City College.

Combining her passion for serving and ministry, Regina founded a PR and Marketing company called Joyful Media with a focus on inspirational news.

When not sharing the vision, mission and values of St. Vincent’s with the rest of our community, you will likely find Regina on a baseball field playing catch with her three children.
