Embodying Hope and Joy, St. Vincent’s logo represents life, the promise of growth, the fulfillment of potential, and the values at the core of our being -- faith, love, dignity, personal worth, and wholeness. With arms outstretched to one another, father, mother, son, and daughter denote completeness through connectedness as they form the base of the symbolic tree. The family is the strength from which the branches – the hopes and dreams of each member – can grow and flourish. With arms uplifted, mother and father express joy in the family’s faith and unity as they embrace the heart of leaves above them. The leaves are green, growing, and alive, and like the Holy Spirit, the leaves surround them and give breath and renewal. At the center of the heart is a cross. This is the heart of love and nurturing that you will experience at St. Vincent’s. The color palette and word placement represent tradition and transformation. As the deep blue honors the roots of our Catholic ministry and the Daughters of Charity legacy of service in Santa Barbara, the vibrant green hails the growth of our programs as we meet the changing needs of the community. And while the words “A Tradition of Caring” is centered to signify the ministry’s foundation and enduring Mission, “St. Vincent’s” is shifted right and in motion, moving us forward into the future.
