A Message from the President & CEO
St. Vincent’s and the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul are excited to be celebrating more than 150 years in Santa Barbara County. As partners with you in our mission of serving the educational and social needs of our clients and residents, we continue to lead the way in building a community that embraces diversity, fosters strong family relationships, and supports individuals to reach their full personal potential.
As the community has grown, St. Vincent’s has grown, and we continue to develop and transform our programs and services to respond to the needs of women, children, families, and seniors. It is a joy to recognize that, by working together, we are doing more than meeting basic needs. We are changing lives. Through the programs we have established in collaboration with our dedicated board of directors, talented St. Vincent’s team, and generous community partners and donors, we are strengthening families, instilling self-worth in mothers, children, and seniors, and providing opportunities for every person to use their talents and gifts toward bettering themselves and also helping others.
Through our shared commitment, we hold the keys to building a strong community and to unlocking the full potential God has given each of us, so that we may lead happy, healthy, and fruitful lives. Ours is a living mission rooted within our Catholic faith and Vincentian heritage, and ever growing within our hearts. It is with this spirit of growth and renewal that each of you brings to our ministry today that we celebrate at St. Vincent’s now and into the future, “The Rebirth of a Timeless Vision.”
